Outside the US, like in Costa Rica the 3Gs sells for starting at $1.100, fully unlocked and with plan commitments.However, the hype of the 4G will be lost in Costa Rica, since the phone uses a "micro SIM card" instead of the common SIM card to activate the telephony, a SIM that is not available in Costa Rica and unlikely that ICE will bring out until a majority of the smartphones adopt it.
